FAQs
What if I submit a card under the wrong condition?
A discrepancy in card condition may result in an adjustment to your payout total. After condition verification, we’ll let you know if there are any discrepancies in the card conditions you submitted.
To most accurately assess the condition of your cards, please refer to the Conditions Guide.
What if I don’t see my card on the Buylist?
If it's a modern card, we may not be buying it at the moment due to high inventory. Check back later and it might be back on our list!
If it's a mid-era or vintage card, email us at buylist@thetrainercourt.com. For technical reasons, it might not be appearing on our Buylist, but we may still be buying it.
Do I still need to submit a Buylist if I come in person?
Yes, a Buylist submission is required for every trade-in, whether you mail your cards in or bring them in-person.
Our buy prices are displayed as you build your list, so submitting a Buylist is how you review and agree to what we're paying for each card.
We recommend submitting your Buylist before you visit, but if you're already in the store, you're welcome to fill it out on your phone before getting in line.
I also have sealed products and/or graded cards I want to see. Can I drop everything off together?
If you have more than 12 items, we request that you make a Trade-In appointment. You can drop-off an approved Buylist order at that time as well.

Can you let me know if you’re interested in my items before I come in?
Sure! Send a list of photos of your items to trades@thetrainercourt.com and we’ll let you know.
Can I mail you my items?
Email trades@thetrainercourt.com to discuss and arrange the trade-in. Please DO NOT ship your cards before receiving confirmation from us.
I already have a Buylist drop-off scheduled. Can I bring my sealed product/graded cards in too?
If you have more than 12 sealed products or graded cards, we ask that you specifically schedule a Trade-In appointment.
You can drop-off an approved Buylist order at that time as well. Just let us know and we’ll cancel your Buylist drop-off appoinment.
