Selling To The Trainer Court
For our rates and policies, read our Trade-In Policy.
1. Are you interested in my cards or sealed products?
Email trades@thetrainercourt.com with a list or photos of what you're interested in selling and we'll let you know.
2. Do I need to make an appointment?
We generally recommend making an appointment in case there is a wait, but we do require an appointment if you're looking to sell more than 12 items. Email trade@thetrainercourt.com to make one.
3. I'm not able to visit The Trainer Court in person. Can I still sell to you?
Email trades@thetrainercourt.com and include "TRADE-IN NOT LOCAL" in the subject line. We'll see if we can work something out!
Inventory and Products
1. Do you have X card or product?
Send us a picture or the name of what you're looking for and we can definitely let you know. Our inventory is also constantly changing, so if we don't have it now, check back in a few weeks or so.
2. Do you sell ungraded / raw singles?
We do! Because our singles inventory changes so often, we don't put them on our website. However, you can visit our NYC location and browse our singles in person.
3. Will an item come back in stock?
Products from newer sets are more likely to be restocked than older sets, however we are also adding new inventory all the time. If there's a particular set or product you're interested in, reach out to us and we can let you know if we're anticipating a restock.
4. Is everything you sell in store also available online?
No, graded slabs, ungraded singles, and the majority of our Vintage sealed products are only available in store.
5. If I buy # boxes/bundles/packs of a product, can I get a sealed case?
No. If we have sealed cases available for a particular product, it will be listed as a separate purchase option.
6. Do. you sell non-Pokémon TCG (Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, etc.)?
Sorry, we're a Pokémon only shop.
Your Order
1. There's an issue with my order.
Email us at info@thetrainercourt.com with your Order Number and a brief description of the issue.
Please also include photos of your order packing list, order contents, and the packaging your order arrived in.
2. Can I cancel my order?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel your order. However, cancelled orders will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee when refunded to your original payment method. The fee is waived for refunds as store credit. Email us at info@thetrainercourt.com with your Order Number and we'll process the cancellation.

1. I placed two orders. Can they be combined and my shipping cost refunded?
It depends on the total weight of your orders. Please email us at info@thetrainercourt.com with the order numbers you wish to be combined and we'll see what we can do.
2. How long will it take for my order to ship to me?
Shipping time estimates will be displayed during checkout under the "Shipping Methods" section. Please be aware of upcoming holidays as they can affect shipping times, even with upgraded shipping.
3. How quickly do you ship orders out?
Order are typically shipped within 3 business days of the order being placed, unless otherwise stated in the product description or homepage announcement (eg. pre-orders, holidays, etc.).
4. Do you ship internationally or plan to add international shipping anytime soon?
Unfortunately due to shipping costs and the complexities of customs and duties we don't have plans to ship internationally anytime soon.
5. Where is my order?
Please keep in mind that the delivery date displayed with your tracking details is an estimate, and your order is not guaranteed to arrive on that date. If your order still hasn't arrived a few days past the estimate delivery date, email us at info@thetrainercourt.com with your Order Number and we'll do our best to help you.
In-Store Pickup
1. How does in-store pickup work?
You'll receive an email from The Trainer Court when your order is ready for pickup. Come in anytime during our open hours.
You'll need to provide your name and order number when picking up your order.
2. How long do I have to pickup my order?
You have 30 days from the date we send your pickup confirmation email to pickup your order.
After 30 days, we'll refund your order, minus a 10% restocking fee, and return the items to our inventory.
3. Can someone else pickup my order for me?
Yes, they'll need to provide your name and the order number.
4. Can I send an courier, such as Uber Courier, to pickup my order for me?
Yes, please just give us a heads up on which day the courier will be coming so that we know to expect them. The courier will need provide your name and the order number. If the service you use provides a PIN for additional security, let us know what it is as well.
5. I want to come pickup my item instead of having it shipped to me. Can I get the shipping cost refunded?
Email us at info@thetrainercourt.com. Please include your order number.
Returns and Refunds

1. Do you accept returns?
It depends on what items you want to return. All TCG product, sale items, and gift cards are final sale. Please refer to our Refund Policy for more information.
2. Do you offer free returns?
No, the cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your order's refund.
3. How long do I have to return an item?
You must contact us within 5 days of receiving your order.
Grading Services
1. Can I submit my cards for grading through The Trainer Court? How much does it cost?
Yes! You can check out our PSA Submission Service page for pricing, process, and PSA submission specific FAQs.
2. Is my card worth grading?
There are a couple of factors that can help determine whether your card is worth grading:
- Personal Preference - If you have a favorite card that you're looking to authenticate, protect, memorialize, etc. for your personal collection, then our opinion is that it's always worth getting it graded ☺️
- Graded Value - Take a look at eBay or PriceCharting for the current value of a PSA (or your desired grading company) 9 or 10 for the card(s) you're interested in grading and if that value isn't high enough to offset the grading fee, then generally we would not recommend grading.
- Card Condition - Card condition can be difficult and subjective to judge. There are 4 condition categories by which PSA judges your cards and the closer to perfect across those categories your card is, the higher it will score. Generally if your card looks like it'll score less than a PSA 9, we don't recommend grading (vintage cards can be an exception).
We're happy to take a look at your card in person, but please understand that we aren't PSA graders and can't guarantee what grade your card will get.
Trainer Court Network
1. What is the Trainer Court Network?
Trainer Court Network is a curated lineup of trainer supplies and collabs from the brands and creators we love! It's our way of bringing you a wider selection of products beyond what we carry in-store, all shoppable in one place.
Network items are sourced from partner brands and shipped directly by them, so shipping times, delivery speeds, and packaging may differ from your standard Trainer Court order. See product pages for brand-specific details and policies.
2. How can I tell if an item is a Trainer Court Network product?
Look for the Trainer Court Network label near the product's name on the product listing.
3. How does shipping work for Trainer Court Network products?
Trainer Court Network items ship directly from the partner brand, so shipping rates, delivery times, and packaging may vary. All available options will be shown at checkout.
If you order both Trainer Court Network and standard Trainer Court items, they'll arrive in separate packages. You'll still receive tracking information for each package from The Trainer Court, just in separate emails.
4. Can I combine shipping with other items?
Because Trainer Court Network items ship directly from partner brands, they cannot be combined with our in-store inventory or other partner brands for shipping.
5. Can I return or exchange a Trainer Court Network item?
Return and exchange policies may vary depending on the partner brand. Please reference the policy on the respective product page.
If you have any issues, please reach out to us at info@thetrainercourt.com and we'll do our best to help sort it out with the parter brand.
6. Can I cancel an order that includes a Trainer Court Network item?
Orders are processed quickly by partner brands, so changes or cancellations may not be possible after an order is placed. Contact us at info@thetrainercourt.com with your order number as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to assist.
7. Can I pickup a Trainer Court Network item in-store?
Since Trainer Court Network items ship directly from the partner brand, in-store pickup isn't available for these products.
8. Who do I contact if there's an issue with my Trainer Court Network order?
Reach out to us at info@thetrainercourt.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We'll do our best to help sort it out with the parter brand.
9. Should I expect to receive any direct communication from a partner brand?
No, all emails should come through The Trainer Court unless we redirect communication to the partner brand to assist with an issue.

1. I signed up for Whatnot using your invite link. How do I redeem the $15 Whatnot credit?
Welcome to Whatnot! You should see the $15 credit automatically applied to your first Auction or Buy It Now Whatnot purchase. Please note that this credit is only available for new Whatnot accounts.
2. There's an issue with my Whatnot order. Can you help me?
We're really sorry that there's an issue with your order. Depending on what the issue is and/or what the resolution you're looking for is you can contact:
- Whatnot Customer Support for issues with shipping (missing packages, damage in transit, etc.) or if you'd like a refund for your order.
- stream@thetrainercourt.com for issues with the contents of your order (missing items, mixups, etc.) and you'd like a replacement. Please include your Whatnot username in your email.
